Funkita Para Swimmers Get Set For Trials
Events
Winter is setting in and the pools are getting colder, but it's coming up to the most important and heated time of the year for our Funkita Para swimmers. It has been five years of sacrifice and commitment for Paralympians Lakeisha Patterson, Tiffany Thomas-Kane, Katja Dedekind & Taylor Corry who will soon be pushing for the sought-after green and gold once again. In what is usually a four-year endeavour, the COVID pandemic has meant our athletes have endured a longer-than-normal wait to trial

British Swimming Trials 2021 Funkita
Events
A huge congratulations to all the F-teamers who competed at the British Swimming Selection Trials. Despite the challenges they have faced this past year, with the lack of pool time and endless zoom sessions, the competition was filled with countless PB's, medals and qualification times. There were brilliant swims from day one, kicking off with the 200m Freestyle, which had Candice Hall and Mia Slevin in the final with both achieving personal best times. Aimee Willmott had a phenomenal swim in t

One year later than planned, and the meet originally called the Irish Open Meet, swimmers will descend on Dublin with the hope of filling their lifelong dreams. F-Teamer Ellen Walshe was lucky enough to be able to train the whole way through Ireland's Co
